Max Whittle

Born and raised in Yorkshire, UK, Max studied biology at Oxford University before moving to Japan, where he spent 20 years studying Zen and various types of Eastern meditation. Fully bilingual, Max has written several books in Japanese, lecturing at conferences and universities all over the country. He and his family are based in Kainan, Wakayama prefecture.
